Deana

Deana Messer holds a Master’s degree in Education but soon realized the teaching profession was taking time away from what mattered most—her family. Seeking a better balance, she built her instructional design portfolio through Teacher Transition, which led to a six-month contract with Boston Scientific. There, she deepened her expertise in Articulate Storyline while creating a continuing education course for nurses on a groundbreaking heart device designed to prevent strokes.

Afterward, FlightSafety recruited Deana as an instructional designer. Initially tasked with building a leadership course, she quickly proved her versatility by developing curriculum, editing videos, creating participant guides, and designing online learning experiences. Recognizing her broad skill set, Deana’s boss elevated her to learning consultant, where she contributes strategically while continuing to deliver impactful learning solutions.

Deana has been a mentor with Teacher Transition for two months. Her goal is to come alongside teachers who want the same freedom she found nearly two years ago.

Meet with Deana if you need someone who can...

4. Coach you on how to design strong ILT/VILT sessions that engage learners and achieve results.

5. Remind you of your incredible worth in the corporate world and how much your skills are needed across every industry.
