Teacher Transition Refund Policy

At Teacher Transition (Teacher Transition, "we", "us", "our"), we strive to provide valuable courses and resources to support your career development. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted for our digital products and services ("Services").

This Refund Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use. By purchasing our Services, you agree to this Refund Policy and our Terms of Use.

1. General Policy for Online Courses

Standard Refund Window: For most of our self-paced online courses, we offer a 7-day refund period, starting from the date of purchase.

Eligibility: To qualify for a refund within this period, you must submit a request via email to [email protected]. Please include your full name, email address used for purchase, the name of the course, and the date of purchase.

Conditions: Refunds under this policy may be subject to certain conditions, such as:

  • Not having completed more than 25% of the course content.
  • Not having downloaded a significant portion of proprietary materials (e.g., templates, workbooks, exclusive resources).
  • The request must be received within the specified 7-day window.
  • Please note that a $50 processing fee will be applied to all approved refunds to cover payment processing and administrative costs.

2. Specific Program Guarantees (If Applicable)

Some premium programs or courses may come with a specific action-based or results-based guarantee (e.g., a "Progress Guarantee" or "Satisfaction Guarantee").

Conditions for Guarantee: If such a guarantee is offered, the specific terms, conditions, required actions, timeframe, and refund eligibility criteria will be clearly outlined on the sales page for that specific program. You must meet all stated requirements (e.g., completing all modules, submitting assignments, participating in required activities) to be eligible for a refund under such a guarantee.

How to Request: Follow the specific instructions provided on the program's sales page or within the program materials.

3. Non-Refundable Items

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific offer or required by applicable law, the following items are generally non-refundable:

  • Digital Downloads: Standalone digital products like e-books, templates, worksheets, checklists, or resource guides once accessed or downloaded.
  • One-on-One Services: Fees for personalized coaching, consulting, mentoring, or resume review sessions that have already been scheduled or completed. For packages, partial refunds for unused sessions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, potentially minus an administrative fee.
  • Membership/Subscription Fees: Recurring fees for ongoing memberships or subscriptions are typically non-refundable after the initial refund window (if applicable to the first payment). You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before the renewal date to avoid future charges.
  • Live Workshops/Events: Tickets or registration fees for live online or in-person workshops or events may have their own specific refund policy outlined during registration, often allowing refunds only up to a certain date before the event.
  • Discounted/Promotional Sales: Products purchased during special promotions, clearance sales, or with significant discounts may be marked as "final sale" and non-refundable. This will be indicated at the time of purchase.

4. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected].

Please include:

  • Your Full Name
  • Email Address Used for Purchase
  • Name of the Product/Service
  • Date of Purchase
  • Reason for the request (optional, but helpful for feedback)
  • Any required documentation (if applying under a specific guarantee).

5. Processing Refunds

Please note that a $50 processing fee will be applied to cover the payment processor fee and the process to refund your purchase.

We will review refund requests within 3-5 business days.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase within 5-10 business days after approval.

Please note that your financial institution may take additional time to reflect the transaction in your account.

Upon processing a refund, your access to the relevant product or service will be revoked.

6. Course Transfer

If you decide that you would prefer a different course than the one that you purchased, our team would love to support you with that. You are welcome to have your purchase transfer to another course within 7 days of purchase. There is no $50 processing fee associated with exchanging one course for another. Please note that the transfer of one course to the other can only be done one time and cannot be refunded afterward.

7. Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of suspected policy abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Requesting refunds for multiple products sequentially.
  • Excessive consumption or downloading of content before requesting a refund.
  • Requesting refunds after having previously expressed satisfaction or completed the majority of the product.

8. Modifications to Policy

Teacher Transition reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
