Teacher Transition Refund Policy

At Teacher Transition (Teacher Transition, “we,” “us,” “our”), we strive to provide valuable courses and resources to support your career development. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted for our digital products and services (“Services”).
This Refund Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use. By purchasing any Services, you agree to this Refund Policy and our Terms of Use.
1. General Refund Policy for Online Courses
Standard Refund Window: For most self-paced online courses, we offer a 7-day refund period beginning on the date of purchase unless stated otherwise prior to purchase.
How to Request: To request a refund within this period, you must email [email protected] and include:
- Full name
- Email address used at checkout
- Course name
- Date of purchase
Eligibility Conditions: Refunds may be denied if any of the following applies:
- You have completed more than 25% of the course content;
- You have downloaded a significant portion of proprietary materials (e.g., templates, workbooks, exclusive resources); or
- We receive your request after the 7-day refund window.
Processing Fee: All approved refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee to cover payment processing and administrative costs.
2. Teacher Transition In-House Payment Plans
We offer Teacher Transition in-house payment plans to help make our courses more accessible and affordable.
2.1 Refunds and Cancellations for Payment Plans
- Purchases made under an in-house payment plan are eligible for a refund only within the 7-day refund window described in Section 1 (measured from the date of purchase/enrollment).
- After the 7-day period, in-house payment plans cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- If a course is purchased during special promotions, clearance sales, or with significant discounts, it may be designated “final sale” and non-refundable. This will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
- If a payment plan purchase is eligible for a refund, any approved refund remains subject to the $50 processing fee described in Section 1.
2.2 Card on File; Failed Payments; Suspension/Termination; Certificate Verification
- Card on File: A valid credit card must be kept on file for all in-house payment plans. Monthly charges will be processed automatically on the scheduled billing dates.
- Failed Payments; Suspension: If we are unable to successfully charge the card on file for any scheduled installment payment (for example, due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or a declined transaction), Teacher Transition may suspend access to the course and any associated course cohort (if registered) unless and until the account is brought current.
- Non-refundable Installments: Each installment payment is earned when paid and is non-refundable. If any scheduled installment payment fails and is not cured within the Cure Period described below, Teacher Transition may suspend or terminate access to the course and any cohort participation. You will not receive a refund for amounts previously paid, except where required by applicable law.
- Cure Period: You will have 7 days from the date of the failed payment attempt to update your payment method and bring your account current (the “Cure Period”). If the past-due amount is not paid within the Cure Period, access may remain disabled and/or be terminated.
- Reinstatement: Access and participation may be reinstated only after all past-due amounts are paid in full.
- Certificates: Completion certificates will not be issued, honored, or verified unless and until all required payments have been successfully completed.
3. Non-Refundable Items
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific offer, or required by applicable law, the following items are generally non-refundable:
- Mini-Courses: Due to their digital nature and low cost, mini-courses are non-refundable.

One-on-One Services: One-on-one services (including coaching, consulting, mentoring, and resume review sessions) are non-refundable.
Once a session is scheduled, it may be rescheduled one (1) time if requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
Rescheduling must be completed through the reschedule link provided to you in your confirmation email and/or appointment reminders, or by emailing
[email protected] if you are unable to access the link.
Reschedule requests submitted with less than 24 hours’ notice may be denied and the session may be treated as completed.
If your assigned mentor is unavailable for any reason, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to match you with another mentor or offer an alternative schedule.
- Membership/Subscription Fees: Recurring fees for memberships or subscriptions are non-refundable. You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date to avoid future charges.
- Discounted/Promotional Sales: Products purchased during special promotions, clearance sales, or with significant discounts may be marked as final sale and non-refundable. This will be indicated at the time of purchase.
4. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted in writing by emailing [email protected].
Include:
- Your full name
- Email address used for purchase
- Name of the product/service
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the request (optional, but helpful)
- Any required documentation (if applicable)
5. Refund Review and Processing
- We review refund requests within 3–5 business days.
- If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.
- Your financial institution may take additional time to post the credit.
- Once a refund is processed, access to the refunded product/service will be revoked.
Processing Fee Reminder: The $50 processing fee applies to all approved refunds for full courses to cover payment processing and administrative costs.
6. Course Transfers
If you would prefer a different course, you may request a one-time course transfer within 7 days of purchase.
There is no $50 processing fee for a course-to-course exchange. Transfers can be completed one time only,
and transferred purchases are not eligible for refunds afterward.
7. Policy Abuse / Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, including but not limited to:
- Repeated refund requests across multiple products;
- Excessive consumption or downloading of content prior to a refund request;
- Refund requests after substantial completion or use of Services.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting on our website.
Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
