“I am so incredibly happy at my company and in my new position! I’m still able to make an impact on our youth.
Your team was a huge reason why I felt so confident to make the transition into customer success. I’m still recommending to fellow teachers who reach out to sign up.”

"Everything I learned, and all the resources I was given, helped me to finally transition out of the classroom and into a role as Director of Training and Development for a very well known and successful company in my area. I don't have a doctorate. I don't have a masters degree. I was "just a teacher with a bachelors degree". That's how I thought of myself. Once I stopped thinking of myself that way, and started realizing that there was a place out there somewhere that would value me for my skillset and ability to learn quickly, everything changed.'

"I officially got hired full-time at Johns Hopkins College of Engineering as an instructional designer!! I’m making a difference for my students with disabilities on a bigger scale than I could do part-time working with one student at a time."
Sara

"Within a month I got a job.
I credit it all to this program. It’s phenomenal. The resources have been amazing. Everything from the resumes to the LinkedIn support. It was fabulous. Thank you so much. Even with the interview, I went in with the tips and kind of memorized and rehearsed. It was perfect."
Matt

"I recently accepted a position as Manager for Learning for a global company and I AM STILL PINCHING MYSELF! I was able to negotiate a salary that is just shy of DOUBLE my teaching salary when I resigned after 17 years and the benefits are AMAZING!"
Allison

"My course helped me clearly see my transferable skills and gave me a clear and practical pathway into my next role. I landed an Associate Instructional Designer position at Keypath Education, working remotely."
Jizelle

"I started my instructional design job in less than 2 months of finishing the Become a Curriculum & Instructional Designer course. I would recommend this course to any teacher interested in leaving the classroom and moving into instructional design. Throughout my interviews with both companies, I received many compliments on my portfolio and projects. I cannot thank you enough for how much you have changed my life and helped me achieve my career goals.
Mary
Former Elementary School Teacher

I left the classroom and stepped into a career in EdTech with more freedom, flexibility, and fulfillment — and I've spent the years since helping thousands of teachers do the same. Teacher Transition is the All-In-One resource I wish existed when I made the leap: a clear path, real portfolios, the right resume, and the confidence to land the role.
Every course inside this bundle is built from the exact strategies that have helped our grads land roles at Pearson, McGraw Hill, HMH, Lexia, Imagine Learning, and more.
— Ali, Founder of Teacher Transition

Nope. BUT there are things you DO need to land a job in these fields and our courses will go over those things to provide you with the tools and resources you need to confidently apply and land a new job.
Great question—we’re glad you asked!
Our courses are led by former teachers who have successfully transitioned into these very roles. Not only have they worked in these positions for years, but they’ve also helped so many teachers build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to land these roles and thrive in them.
Along with being a team of former teachers who now work in the roles teachers thrive in next, what sets our team apart is the combination of deep teaching expertise and real-world industry experience. You won’t just learn theory—you’ll get hands-on, practical experience that mirrors the actual work done in these roles. You'll also be fully prepared to apply to and land these roles by the end of the course!
Plus, our instructors and mentors are currently working in the field, giving you timely insights and even direct connections to companies that actively hire for these roles.
You're learning from people who’ve walked the path—and are now here to guide you on yours.
No problem at all! All of these courses will let you know what the field is like and everything you need to get a job in it. You can apply whenever you’d like! It will simply help you be confident and fully prepared to go from classroom to next dream job whenever you would like to!
Bonus: What you will learn inside the course will also help you be a better teacher in the classroom as well.
If you want to do an online program in one of these fields, one of the least expensive and popular options is WGU’s program. Most students graduate within 4 semesters for $13,000. (Note: Some of the people in our course have graduated from WGU with a degree and then signed up for one of our courses because even after graduating with a master’s they had no idea what professionals in these fields actually do for work. But hey, they learned a lot about theory and assessment 😉).
If you want to go to an on-site program, one that is well respected is The University of Indiana. Take their Curriculum and Instructional Design program for example, If you were to get accepted to theirs or another a really good program and attend on-site, your tuition plus life expenses would likely come to over $100,000. Yep, really. Want to see it for yourself? Here are the details from Indiana’s website: https://studentcentral.indiana.edu/pay-for-college/cost-of-iu/estimated-cost.html
Pro-tip: Keep in mind that after getting a degree, you would then need to go to the work of landing a job. Or, you could save that time and money and we’ll get right to the end goal.
All Teacher Transition courses come with a 7-day no-questions-asked policy. If you purchase a course and decide for any reason that it is not for you, simply email our team within 7 days at [email protected] for a refund.
Please note that a $50 processing fee may be applied to cover the payment processor fee and process to refund your purchase.
If you decide that you would prefer a different course than the one that you purchased (aside from the bundle), our team would love to support you with that.
You are welcome to have your purchase transfer to another course within 7 days of purchase. There is no $50 processing fee associated with exchanging one course for another.
Please note that the transfer of one course to the other can only be done one time and cannot be refunded afterward.
This varies depending on many things. Some course members have landed jobs in a month and a half after signing up. Some course members have landed a job the week they signed up. If you need a job sooner rather than later, we recommend a dual approach of taking the course while applying to jobs and adding the skills you gain through the course to your resume and portfolio as you learn them.
Complete the course as fast or slow as you'd like. Go at the pace that works best for you.
Participants also include school administrators, district leaders, school counselors, speech-language pathologists, teachers who have already left the classroom and others working in education—as well as professionals from fields beyond education.
Whether you're coming from a classroom, a support role, or a different industry altogether, the course helps you identify your transferable skills, explore a wide range of job opportunities, and build a strategy to land a role that’s the right fit.
If you’re ready to explore meaningful work that aligns with your experience and strengths, this course can help you get there.
A better question might be—where haven’t they landed jobs?
Our course members have gone on to work at a wide range of organizations, including:
EdTech companies like McGraw Hill, Pearson, Curriculum Associates, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Canvas Instructure
Corporate companies such as Epic Games, Boston Scientific, Spotify, Boeing, and Dale Carnegie Training
Universities including Purdue, Johns Hopkins, and Texas A&M
Non-profits and government organizations like Kooth and the Texas Department of Transportation
Remote contract roles that allow for flexibility and global access
They’ve secured roles across the U.S. and internationally—proving that with the right skills and support, your next opportunity can take you almost anywhere.
Yes! Upon completing the course, you’ll receive a professional development certificate that shows you’re officially certified in the role the course prepares you for. But that’s just the beginning.
You’ll also receive:
University graduate-level credit (master’s level)
Shareable digital badges to display on LinkedIn and your resume for each module you complete and skill you gain
An optimized resume template and LinkedIn profile template tailored to the role you're pursuing
And so much more to help you confidently showcase your new skills and stand out as a qualified, prepared, and credible applicant
This isn’t just a certificate—it’s a full toolkit to help you showcase your experience, communicate your value, and land the job you want.
The cohort experience includes an online community and live sessions.
The online cohort community is accessible 24/7 for 10 weeks to get your mentoring, support, and shared encouragement throughout the cohort.
The live cohort sessions are 9 weeks long and held once per week to mentor you on course content and let you learn from and connect personally with guest speakers working in the field.
The cohort's online community and live sessions start the same week and the online community is accessible 2 weeks after the last live session to get you further support. Spoiler Alert: For being part of the program, you will also be given free access to even more support, in case you may need or want additional support and career coaching after the cohort wraps up.
We simply want to support you as best as possible for as long (or short!) of a timeframe as you want and need.
Cohorts are an optional support resource designed to give you an extra layer of guidance and connection as you go through the course.
When you start the course, you’ll be able to see the list of upcoming cohort options and choose the one that best fits your schedule. If now isn’t the right time, no problem—you’re welcome to join a future cohort when it works better for you.
Each cohort meets once a week for 1–2 hours to discuss that week’s topic, get support, and hear from guest speakers. While the exact day may vary depending on speaker availability, you can generally expect meetings to be held weekly at 8 ET / 7 CT / 6 MT / 5 PT. A full schedule is provided once you join. Replays are available within 48 hours if you can’t attend live.
In addition to cohort meetings, you’ll also have access to open office hour calls for real-time support and feedback, plus a 24/7 online community where you can post questions, connect with other cohort members, and get personalized guidance from mentors—all of whom are former teachers now working in the field.
You’ll be supported from start to finish by people who truly understand where you’re coming from and where you want to go, and who know how to get you there.
